At the Polynesian Bowl, a top Tennessee Vols 2026 recruitment target is creating a stir.
The Tennessee Vols signed top-ranked quarterback Faizon Brandon, which was a huge catch for Josh Heupel and the team in the 2026 class. They want to get him to throw the ball to a major target, and they have one in mind who keeps drawing attention during the summer.
Tristen Keys, a wide receiver from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, has been making an impression at this week’s Polynesian Bowl All-Star Game in Hawaii.
Greg Biggins, a national recruiting analyst for 247 Sports, was impressed by Keys following the first practice day before Friday’s game.

Heupel and the Vols have Keys as a top target. similar to one of the largest classes of 2026. According to 247 Sports, the five-star wideout is the top wide receiver, the fourth-best recruit overall in the country, and the best player in the state of Mississippi.
The Vols are vying for the services of the gifted wide receiver, which is wonderful news. In October, Tom Loy, a national recruiting analyst for 247 Sports, made a crystal ball prediction that Tennessee would hire him. The Vols appear to have maintained their position at the lead ever since, with Texas A&M and Alabama joining the fray.
Tennessee will undoubtedly give Keys first priority in 2025 because he is the kind of offensive difference maker the Vols have been lacking since Jalin Hyatt graduated.
