Alabama Football News 5 Alabama signees take center stage at UA All-American practices.
The Alabama Crimson Tide will be well-represented at this year’s Under Armour All-American Game in Orlando. Five signees will partake in the game, which will take place on January 2 at DeLand’s Spec Martin Stadium. Kickoff is set at 4 EST / 3 CST and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
The Crimson Tide’s five signees who will take center stage in the game are quarterback Keelon Russell, offensive lineman Micah DeBose, tight end Marshall Pritchett, running back Akylin Dear, and cornerback Dijon Lee Jr.
Four of the five signees—Russell, DeBose, Lee Jr., and Dear—will be on Team Icon, while Pritchett will be on Team Unstoppable.
Pritchett joined the Crimson Tide in Tampa several days ago to prepare for the ReliaQuest Bowl. He traveled from Tampa to Orlando on Sunday morning to participate in the highly anticipated all-star game.
Russell leads the group of Alabama signees. The Texas native was recently named the Gatorade National Player of the Year in high school football. As a senior, he threw for 3,652 yards and 52 touchdown passes with only two interceptions. All eyes will be on Russell as he seeks to cement his reputation as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the 2025 recruiting class.
Each of the five signees has the potential to make significant contributions and represent themselves and Alabama on a national platform. It will be intriguing to see how each of them compares against some of the best talent in the country for the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes.
