Georgia’s Ryland Zaborowski has been named a 2025 Perfect Game First Team All-American, and he joined teammates Robbie Burnett and Slate Alford on the ABCA/Rawlings Southeast All-Region squad.
In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, Georgia Bulldogs baseball players Ryland Zaborowski, Robbie Burnett, and Slate Alford have earned prestigious accolades for their outstanding performances during the 2025 season. Zaborowski has been named a 2025 Perfect Game First Team All-American, while Burnett and Alford have secured spots on the ABCA/Rawlings Southeast All-Region squad.
Ryland Zaborowski, a graduate transfer from Miami (Ohio), has been a formidable presence in Georgia’s lineup. In March 2025, he was honored as the SEC Co-Player of the Week after a dominant performance against Columbia University and Georgia State. During this stretch, Zaborowski went 7-for-16 with six home runs and 18 RBIs, including back-to-back games with two home runs and seven RBIs. This offensive surge propelled him to second in the nation for both home runs and RBIs, with 10 and 36 respectively, and led the nation in slugging percentage at 1.170.
Robbie Burnett, a senior transfer from UNC Asheville, has made significant contributions to Georgia’s offensive success. In the season opener against Quinnipiac, Burnett showcased his skills by going 1-for-1 with an RBI, three runs scored, and tying a school record with four stolen bases. His versatility and leadership have been instrumental in Georgia’s high-scoring offense. By March 31, 2025, Burnett had accumulated 13 home runs, a .363 batting average, 27 walks, and a .570 on-base percentage, positioning him among the nation’s elite hitters.
Slate Alford, a senior infielder from Madison, Alabama, has been a consistent performer for the Bulldogs. In the season opener against Quinnipiac, Alford contributed a bases-clearing double, driving in three RBIs. His offensive prowess and defensive reliability have solidified his role in Georgia’s infield, earning him recognition on the ABCA/Rawlings Southeast All-Region team.
