Former Panther Tori Ensley is set to finish her collegiate softball career with the #14-ranked and SEC Powerhouse South Carolina Gamecocks.
Tori Ensley, a versatile and dynamic player from North Carolinaersity, has announced her decision to transfer to the University of South Carolina for her final season of collegiate softball. This move marks a significant step in Ensley’s athletic career as she joins the #14-ranked Gamecocks, a team renowned for its competitive spirit and success in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
During her time at NC State, Ensley showcased her adaptability and skill by playing both infield and outfield positions. In her freshman season, she started in 50 games, maintaining a .268 batting average with 33 hits, 22 runs, and 13 RBIs. Her performance in the field was equally impressive, achieving a perfect fielding percentage with 76 putouts and three assists. Additionally, she demonstrated her speed on the bases, recording nine stolen bases out of 12 attempts.
Ensley’s transition to South Carolina brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to the Gamecocks.
