Jaden Greathouse, a standout wide receiver for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, is rapidly emerging as one of college football’s most promising talents. Hailing from Austin, Texas, Greathouse attended Westlake High School, where he was a four-star recruit and the No. 93 overall player in the 2021 class, according to On3 Industry Rankings. Greathouse committed to Notre Dame in July 2022, joining the Fighting Irish as a highly-touted wide receiver. Greathouse’s most notable performance came in the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship against Ohio State. Despite the team’s 23–34 loss, Greathouse had a career day, finishing with six receptions for 128 yards and two touchdowns. His first touchdown came on a 34-yard pass, where he broke tackles and spun free of defenders to reach the end zone. He followed that with a 30-yard reception and an 11-yard catch on fourth down, demonstrating his ability to make critical plays under pressure. His performance was instrumental in Notre Dame’s late-game comeback efforts.
Standing at 6’1″ and weighing 215 pounds, Greathouse combines size with agility, making him a formidable presence on the field.
