Acaden Lewis, a 6-foot-2 point guard from Washington, D.C., has officially committed to Villanova University

marking a significant development in the 2025 college basketball recruiting landscape. Previously a signee with the University of Kentucky, Lewis’s decision to join the Wildcats was announced in November 2024, following a recruitment process that included offers from prestigious programs such as Duke, UConn, and North Carolina .

His performance on the Nike EYBL circuit with Team Durant further solidified his reputation, where he posted averages of 16.7 points, 6.1 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game .

Lewis is known for his left-handed playstyle, characterized by tight ball-handling, a smooth shooting stroke, and a keen basketball IQ. His ability to balance scoring with playmaking makes him a dual-threat on the court, capable of leading an offense while also contributing significantly to the scoreboard .
