He became a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award and set a new Auburn record with 19 consecutive made field goals .

However, the 2024 season proved challenging for McPherson due to gastrointestinal health issues that limited his participation. Despite these setbacks, he managed to make a 39-yard field goal in Auburn’s game against Kentucky, maintaining his perfect record for the season .

Looking ahead, McPherson’s return is anticipated to bolster Auburn’s special teams unit. His consistency and experience are expected to provide stability, especially in high-pressure situations.


Former Tigers Seek New Opportunities
