Te-Hina Paopao, the standout guard for South Carolina, was selected by the Atlanta Dream with the 18th overall pick in the second round of the 2025 WNBA Draft. A 5-foot-9 guard, Paopao transferred to South Carolina from Oregon in 2023, where she had a stellar collegiate career, earning All-Pac-12 honors and becoming one of the nation’s most accurate 3-point shooters.
During her time with the Gamecocks, Paopao showcased her scoring and playmaking abilities, averaging 11.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game, with impressive shooting percentages across the board.
