A transfer forward from Arizona has committed to the Texas Longhorns.
The Texas Longhorns men’s basketball team has bolstered its frontcourt by adding Arthur Kaluma, a 6-foot-7 forward previously with Kansas State. Kaluma brings significant experience, having averaged 14.4 points and 7.0 rebounds per game during his lone season with the Wildcats .
This addition is part of a broader strategy by head coach Rodney Terry to enhance the team’s roster ahead of their move to the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Kaluma’s signing utilizes the team’s final scholarship for the upcoming season .
Kaluma’s performance against Texas last season was notable; in two games, he scored 31 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, contributing to Kansas State’s victories over the Longhorns .
