Suemnick’s collegiate career began at Robert Morris University, where he played during the 2020-2021 season. He then transferred to Triton College, a junior college in Illinois, where he had a standout season, averaging 12 points and six rebounds per game. His performance at Triton earned him NJCAA All-Star honors and helped the team reach the NJCAA Final Four.
In 2022, Suemnick transferred to West Virginia University, where he played for two seasons. During his time with the Mountaineers, he averaged 3.0 points and 2.1 rebounds per game over 53 appearances. Notably, he had a standout performance against Kansas, scoring 20 points in an upset victory.
