  • KJ Lacey, Quarterback – No. 8
  • Michael Terry III, Athlete – No. 11
  • Justus Terry, Defensive Line – No. 15
  • Daylan McCutcheon, Wide Receiver – No. 17
  • Lance Jackson, Edge Rusher – No. 40
  • Emaree Winston, Tight End – No. 85

 

These assignments not only signify the integration of these athletes into the Longhorns’ roster but also continue the tradition of notable players wearing specific numbers. For instance, the No. 2 jersey, now assigned to wide receiver Jaime Ffrench, has been previously worn by standout players, adding a layer of prestige and expectation.
