Alabama-Texas A&M receives a top broadcast crew assignment from ESPN. The Top 10 Showdowns
The top broadcast cr is assigned by ESPN.On Saturday night at College Station, the Alabama Crimson Tide will play the Texas A&M Aggies in a top-10 game.
The Aggies (13-2, 2-0) and Crimson Tide (13-2 overall, 2-0 SEC) will square off at Reed Arena at 7 p.m. CT. ESPN will be broadcasting the game.
According to this week’s AP Top 25 and USA TODAY Sports Coaches Polls, Alabama is ranked fifth. The ninth-ranked school is Texas A&M.

This is the first time O’Brien has called an Alabama game this season. Since joining ESPN in 2002, he has worked on a number of high-profile college basketball games, as well as Major League Baseball and NBA games for ESPN TV and ESPN Radio. O’Brien also serves as the Boston Red Sox’s primary play-by-play commentator for the team’s own New England Sports Network (NESN).
In 2009, Alexander became a member of ESPN. He played in the NBA for seven seasons, including four with the Virginia Cavaliers from 1991–92 to 1994–95. In the 1995 NBA Draft, Alexander was selected by the San Antonio Spurs with the 29th overall choice in the first round.
Mark Sears scored 22 points to help Alabama upset South Carolina 88-68 on Wednesday night in Columbia. Alabama won for the eighth consecutive game thanks to 13 points from Aden Holloway off the bench and 10 from Clifford Omoruyi.
On Wednesday night in Norman, Texas A&M overcame a deficit to overcome Oklahoma, 80-78, led by senior Zhuric Phelps, who scored a career-high 34 points. The Aggies won their tenth consecutive game after coming back from an 18-point deficit at one point in the second half.
