Can Ags reverse the catastrophe that has befallen Texas A&M at the eleventh hour in the transfer portal?

Today, Texas A&M football received some unsettling news via the transfer site. However, is it possible to reverse the actions taken?

With the announcement of Noah Thomas’ transfer portal, Texas A&M football loses, but the Aggies could still entice the top wide receiver back.

The wide receiver position has been the focal point of Texas A&M football’s transfer portal cycle. The Aggies have also made improvements in the defensive line, but with the opening of the portal ranks, the receiver has been the team’s top priority.

You have to give the Aggies a lot of credit for meeting their demands at the position, and they have gone above and above in doing so. With the addition of KC Concepcion, Micah Hudson, and Mario Craver, A&M now has the ideal balance of established production and high-end potential.

But there was always some risk associated with this tactic. The men who had previously been your top performers at that position might not like it if you try to solve a problem there by bringing in portal contributors.

It appears that this same thing might have recently occurred on the last day that the site was accessible to Texas A&M football players. Noah Thomas, the star wide receiver for Texas A&M football, declared today that he will be logging into the portal.

In contrast to many other Aggie portal entrants thus far, the Aggies had high hopes for him in the upcoming season. He still fits with what Klein and company want to do, even though he probably wouldn’t be A&M’s top choice anymore.

However, I suspect that this isn’t nearly the end of it. If everything is said and done, I believe there is a good chance that a player the Aggies value as much as Thomas will eventually remove his name from the portal.

Consider this: Aggie gamers have one more day to access the site. If Thomas has been considering it, this might indicate that he is only throwing his name in because, in other words, he might not be completely out of the door if he doesn’t do it now.

I have faith that Holmon Wiggins and Mike Elko will resolve this issue. As I’ve stated, the Aggies have performed admirably in their role in the portal, so whatever happens if things become unmanageable. However, I believe that we might still see the senior wideout in Maroon and White again if they all sit down to negotiate.
