2025 NFL Pro Bowl: Baltimore Ravens lead choices, Patrick Mahomes misses out for the first time
Sam Darnold receives his first career Pro Bowl selection during his comeback season with the Minnesota Vikings, while Jayden Daniels, a great quarterback for the Washington Commanders, becomes the fourth rookie to be selected to the original Pro Bowl team since 1970.
Lamar Jackson is one of a league-high nine Baltimore Ravens players selected for the Pro Bowl, while Patrick Mahomes is left off for the first time since he started as a quarterback in the NFL.
The Kansas City Chiefs star, a three-time Super Bowl MVP, missed out on a place in the AFC roster having been included every year since becoming starter at Arrowhead in his second season.
Travis Kelce, a tight end, was selected for the 10th time by the Chiefs, joining defensive lineman Chris Jones and interior offensive linemen Joe Thuney, Trey Smith, and Creed Humphrey.
Mahomes has thrown for 3,928 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions during one of the worst seasons in his illustrious career, according to statistics. Even yet, the Chiefs, who are 15-1 going into the final weekend of the regular season, are still vying for a historic third consecutive Super Bowl victory after securing the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
Leading the picks in Baltimore are two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson, who is among the favorites to earn a third MVP award after throwing for 3,955 yards and 39 touchdowns against only four interceptions, as well as 852 running yards and four ground-based touchdowns.

On February 2, the two conferences will play a seven-on-seven all-star flag football game in Florida, with Peyton Manning and Eli Manning serving as their respective head coaches.
